Hello community,

Until now I haven't found any really useful thread about the slayer achievement. Four days ago I started getting my slayer achievement on my own... with very nice progress =)

Anyway, I decided to share my experiences with you. I think I found the one or two very nice "kill spot".

It won't be a complete list because I think some creatures like centaurs and ghosts autocomplete.

Centaur: autocomplete (Human area)

Drake: Plains of Ashford, Ashford Forum, west-northwest of the "Ashford Waypoint"
I fought in the arena. There always six drakes at a time. Here you'll need a bit patience.

Harpy: Diessa Plateau, Gram Hills, northeast of the "Butcher's Block Waypoint"
A lot of little harpies and one veteran harpy which summons every few seconds (20s - 30s) three little harpies.

Spider: autocomplete

Indiscriminate: autocomplete

Bandit: autocomplete (Human area)

Skale: Plains of Ashford, Ascalon Basin, east of the "Loreclaw Waypoint"
In the water near the lakeside are three groups of skales with theirs hatchlings. While they respawn you can kill the skales ashore.

Bat: I used two different spots. First I killed all bats on the first spot with my warrior then I switched to my necromancer and killed all bats on the second spot. Then I switched to my warrior... and so on :)

Plains of Ashford, Human's Lament, east of the "Ascalon City Waypoint"
There are nine to ten Vampire Bats

Kessex Hills, Cereboth Canyon, south of the "Cereboth Waypoint"
Around the hole are four Cave Bats. Southwest of this hole are again four Cave Bats.

Shell: For this achievement it's possible to kill the little "one-shot" crabs. Here I also used the "bat strategy".

Character #1: Bloodtide Coast, Captain's Cut, southwest of the "Stormbluff Waypoint"
In the shallow water live up to 20 crabs.

Character #2: Metrica Province, Loch Jezt, west of the "Loch Waypoint"
There live more than 20 crabs.

Devourer: Fireheart Rise, Onager Bivouac, east-northeast of the "Rustbowl Waypoint"
There is a cave full of devourers. Don't forget some stability, this creatures are a little bit annoying^^.

Dredge: autocomplete (e.g. Fractals of the Mists)

Elemental: autocomplete (not sure, but I had 1000 kills and I did nothing special)

Ettin: Queensdale, Phinney Ridge, north-northwest of the "Phinney Waypoint"
A small cave with a total of eleven ettins. After you killed all eleven you have to wait some seconds.
You also can use the "bat strategy":
Kessex Hills, Cereboth Canyon, east of the "Cereboth Waypoint"

I myself preferred to wait some seconds.

Ghost: autocomplete (e.g. Ascalon dungeon)

Giant: Well... this one seems to be impossible^^ I have 10 giants killed and just because I repeated the event in the Diessa Platuea ten times.

Grawl: Frostgorge Sound, Arundon Vale, northeast of the "Arundon Waypoint"
This is not a "perfect" spot but it's the best I could find :)

Griffon: Lornar's Pass, Chillwing Perch, south-southeast of the "Thunderhorns Waypoint"
Many griffons with theirs youngs.

Hylek: Caledon Forest, Wychmire Swamp, southwest of the "Falias Thorp Waypoint"
There are two gatherings of hyleks. Kill the first group then the second and wait some seconds.

Flame Legion: autocomplete (Charr area)

Fish: autocomplete (e.g. Fractals of the Mists)

Imp: Fields of Ruin, Highden Caves, southeast of the "Fangfury Watch Waypoint"
There is a Veteran Shadow Imp. This Imp summons all five to ten seconds three little Shadow Imps. Kill just them, let the Veteran Shadow Imp alive. Take some survival skills with you ;)

Inquest: autocomplete (Maguuma jungle)

Insect: Caledon Forest, The Verdence
There are many fireflies and mosquitos. I walked around and killed all Insects :)

Jotun: Personal Story for norn “The Last of the Giant-Kings”. This quest is for level 10 so you have to create a norn an level him up (I leveled within an hour up to level 9 and started then the quest). In this quest you receive an awesome weapon. With it you can kill very, very fast 18 jotuns. When the Giant-King arrives you should log out. Repeat this procedure and within an additional hour you’ve got your achievement =) This was the most funny slayer achievement!

Krait: autocomplete (not sure, but I had 1000 kills and I did nothing special)

Minotaur: Plains of Ashford, Ashford Forum, west-northwest of the "Ashford Waypoint"
I fought in the arena. There always four minotaurs at a time. Here you'll need a bit patience.

Nightmare Court: autocomplete (Maguuma Jungle, Twilight Arbor)

Ogre: Fields of Ruin, Hunter's Gorge, "Wreckage of Bloodgorge Watch Waypoint"
I handled it in the following way:
The "Kestrel Market" belongs to the Charr, The "Hunter's Gorge" belongs to the Ogre.
Event #1: The ogres attack "Kestrel Market", you defed it (~30 Ogres)
Event #2: The Charrs attack "Hunter's Gorge", you have 12 minutes time to kill ogres as much as possible (my record: ~70 ogres). Important: fail the event because after the event the ogres will attack "Krestel Market" =)

Ooze: Queensdale, Beetletun Farms, west-southwest of the "Beetletun Waypoint"
There is a pipe full of oozes (~18). If you struggled through and arrived at the end of the pipe you can walk back to the beginning, the oozes there are already respawned ;)

Pirate: Gendarran Fields, Brigantine Isles, south of the "Brigantine Waypoint"
Tons of pirates =)

Plant: I haven't found a good spot yet. I myself have killed 100 plants and I think I'll stop here. It's too tedious for me.

Raptor: An additional time I used the "bat strategy".

Character #1: Iron Marches, Glory's Steps, south of the "Town of Cowlfang's Star Waypoint"
There are a total of five groups of raptor hachlings. Three groups are south of the written "Glory's Steps". Two groups are in direction of the area "Viper's Run". Take some speed buffs with you.

Character #2:Metrica Province, Obscura Incline, south-southeast of the "Old Golem Factory Waypoint"
There are a total of eleven raptors.

Skelk: Wayfarer Foothills, Grawlenfjord (start), Darkriven Bluffs (end), north of the "Grawlenfjord Waypoint"
Kill all Alpine Skelks from Grawlenfjord to Doldenvan Passage to Darkriven Bluffs. There is a small underwater passage with ~37 skelks. After this return to the "Grawlenfjord Waypoint" and repeat the procedure :)

Skritt: autocomplete

Son of Svanir: autocomplete (Norn area)

Troll: Caledon Forest, The Verdence, south-southwest of the "Sleive's Waypoint"
There is an area full of Jungle Trolls.

Wind Rider: Mount Maelstrom, Avernan Volatile, south of the “Avernan Waypoint”
A field full of Breeze Riders. It’s a little boring because you just can kill one wind rider at a time. Therefor the respawn time is nice =)

Wurm: autocomplete (not sure, but I had 1000 kills and I did nothing special)

Undead: autocomplete (Orr^^)

Additional I have for you a very nice "Weapon Master Achievement" hint:
Rata Sum, Idea Incubation Lab (southeast), south of the "Incubation Waypoint"
There are six Lightning Bugs. They respawn ~20 seconds after you killed them.

Hope I could help you =)

X Master

Great list!  For Plant, there is a spot in Wayfarer Foothills that has 3-4 Veteran Oakhearts, and they respawn pretty quickly after being killed.  (People usually hit this area on Veteran Killing Daily day).  If someone can get 10 Oaks a day eventually it'll add up :)

Run TA without skipping the hound packs and you'll get plant slayer pretty quickly, and it's much faster than oakhearts.

I always thought the hounds counted as Nightmare Court - they are actually Plant?

Another decent spot for plants is in Queensdale, there's a grove (near the Phinney Waypoint, iirc) where a Champ Oakheart spawns for an event, but also there are a couple veteran Oakhearts around that area that seem to respawn pretty quick.

For grawl you said that you didnt find a orefect place... What is with the volcani fractal? You referred to fractals at other points as well so I guess that counts?

Nightmare Court: Caledon Forest [Town of Cathal Waypoin] (west border, center)

Despite the OP saying auto-complete, I did not have this one done due to not doing much TA.
Head sounth from the way point and you'll hit an opening into a narrower passage.

This area is efficient enough that you can run north to south to north again constantly with something to do.  I went from about 70%-100% in about 45 minutes.

They respawn instantly on my server, easiest way to get your veteran monthly kills by far. As an 80 you can solo them in a few seconds.
