[Empty Promises]

I started to get more active in PvP, and I'm loving it. However I face a dilemma. Recently I played the game normally with my 1,2,3,4,5 etc key buttons to use my skills, but they aren't exactly what I call efficient  So I am wondering what control settings do another people use or can recommend for me to use. On a side note I use my laptop's keyboard (so it ain't separate , and I have a gigabyte mx8000 ghost, so there's an additional 2 buttons I can use on my mouse being on the side (totaling up to 5 mouse buttons), as reference to where I can place additional keys.

My i'm using :
- Weapons Skills is 1,2,3,4 and 5
- Heal is ''Q'', my
- Utilities are ''E'', Mouse 4 and Mouse 5.
- Elite is ''R''
- Dodge is Mouse 3

Don't know if its the best, but its what i prefer myself.

This might be kind of weird and will require some getting used to, but it's a reasonably close analogue to the setup I have on my Logitech G13.



Bind Interact (F) to one of your mouse buttons. Put menu options like Map, Hero, and Inventory wherever you see fit. Weapon Swap might feel more familiar on 1 instead of B, and you could use B for interact and your mouse buttons for Target and Push-to-Talk.

I'm using a G13 with this layout:



On my mouse I have:
Mouse wheel click: Elite
Side buttons: Healing Skill and Interact (F)

I'd say start by moving strafe from Q & E to A & D. You don't need turn on your keyboard, use your mouse for that. Then playce everything else somwhere around your movement keys, so you can easily reach everything. Assign dodge to a key, that is easy to reach while running and disable "double-tap to evade". If you are using a regular keyboard, ctrl would work great, but it interferes with some other actions (linking gear), so I'm not sure, if this works for you, but maybe try it.

I'd advice you to get a Gameboard (or whatever these devices are called), though, as it helpes a lot.
