502 Bad Gateway error

I've been getting several errors today...

from a page to MMO Champion to 504 (or something) bad Gateway.

Curse have stability problems?

Just want to be sure the issue isn't on my end :)

It looks like there was an issue with the data center move that happened the other day. Everything should be returning back to normal now. :)

Seems to be fixed. But the article on the main page is also gone it seems. The weekly wrap-up.

I just got another MMO Champion hiccup.  Going back a webpage and trying again made it work.

Just bringing this to everyone's attention. :)

Yeah, I got that too.  I shouted in the appropriate direction.

It's possible these issues may have simply replaced the standard gateway timeout issues we were having before.  Not so much a new problem, but an old problem being presented in a new and confusing way!

I am getting this CONSTANTLY now. :eek: Why is that? It sends me to this "MMO-Champion" site over and over and over, only to erase the posts I had tried to make.

And it keeps telling me "Unexpected Error

There has been an unexpected error. "

:( That's descriptive...

and the site is being really slow for me... I'm honestly shocked it let me post this without sending me to that MMO-Champion page a couple times. :(

Its looking fixed to me now. Site is far more responsive.

We usually busy freaking out over instant message and yelling for the server admin by the time someone posts anyway. :D

Keep the reports coming. It's good to know if problems are limited to a certain number of user or not.

You are fooling yourself, user. Nothing here is what it seems. ANet is not the plucky hero, Guru is not an evil empire, and this is not the grand arena.

I had this start of the weekend, seemed cleared up but now its back again.
It's not all of the times, but when it happens loading times are pretty long.

It is an issue that affects all sites. The error page is a generic error page that was made before any one sites were hosted on the cluster so I made it styled the same as the only site that was there at the time. I am working on the super generic error page!

Also, we isolated MMO-Champion back into its own cluster instead of letting all sites share resources.

Next up is finding why POST occasionally fails showing that error message.

I can attest to the fact that the super generic error page is up and running.

The "contact us" link works also.
However when i want to create a account to report my problem, the link to the terms of agreement do not work, forcing us to either agree without knowing what we agree upon, or dont become a member of that forum.

Neither of these options are optimal and in some countries its "less then legal" to request a subscriber to agree to unknown terms.

I realise these forums are unther constant development, but i would like to encourage you in the strongest terms possible to make the Terms of Agreement readable to anyone that wishes to subscribe to your networks.

Yeah,... I've already had a few connection problems, linking me to an error page (A Curse one, I might add :p), which said it was on your end.

What's going on, guise? :D (Just wondering tbh; I can deal with a few hours of downtime of Guru)

This is the same error we were getting before, just with a more sensible skin.

I'm not having any issues at the moment, how severe are yours?

Well, trying to load pages right now is troublesome. They're all slow, and some (2 out of 10 in the last few minutes) actually go to the error page.

But the issue isn't severe (for me) as I'm currently not in the right place to use Guru as much as I regularly do ;D.

What does it say in the status bar at the bottom of your browser while you're waiting for it to load?

Usually it should say something like 'Waiting for something.something.com'
