I really like the Super Adventure Box, but I don't understand why the developers made it always-online.

You can easily solo the content, and there should be an offline mode for single-player. I would also like a friend to be able to play with a second controller offline.

It can't be that hard to program an offline version of the SAB. ANet is just the latest developer to go the always-online route.

Am I seriously reading this?  It's an MMO, it needs to be online due to the volume of information going through it.

You sir, have failed. Look at the bottom of his post "4/1/13." You just got hit with an April Fools joke. And a pretty funny one at that.

What are you talking about?

Super adventure box is the new game created by Arenanet with cutting edge graphics which is being developed for their exculsive console which is totally gonna beat Sega and Nintendo.

What's an MMO anyways?

Offline mode? I suggest they pull resources from gw2 so they can develop it into a full game. Multi platform launch and full press coverage. What is not to like?

Arnenanet why haven't you done this already?? Make it so!

Didn't you hear? Simcity isn't a single player game anymore, it's a fun-multiplayer-experience!
Exactly the kind of "fun" you get from all of EA's games!

Pfft, you wish you Anet fanboy! You just wait till Sega's new system comes out, the Sega Saturn! It's gonna wipe the floor with "Anoob" and "Nintendon't". Sonic > Rytlock > Mario

I just got my SAB Collector Edition cartridge, got the gold cartridge with a nice 3D label and a Behind the Scenes CD about the advertising video ! So yeah, there IS a single player version available.

lol I know. Which I find ironic given their history with mmos in general. Can't seem to make an mmo that can float, but sure want to turn every single game into one. Oh EA you are a special kind of stupid.

Whatever Sega fanboy, I bet you Anet will beat Sega so hard this gen that they'll go out of business and have to put their games on other systems while desperately milking Sonic to stay alive because they're so terrible.

And Rytlock would totally beat Mario and Sonic AT THE SAME TIME in a fight.
