GW2 Peasant Mode, as far as I have thought thought, goes as follows:
-Must roll a new character
-After the starting zone, must level from level 2-80 without a single death. When you die, delete that character and start again.
-profession chosen must be an Adventurer class (ranger, thief, engineer (for ranger, no pets, for engineer, no turrets))
-must only wear white quality armors that are FOUND, not purchased. No upgrading said armors with gems, runes, crests, etc.
-can NEVER spend gold, silver, or copper at vendors, karma, or Black Lion Trading Posts. However, any money or items acquired may deposited in bank. (except one caveat: see below.)
-no earning money through the BLTP. BLTP is completely off limits.
-cannot spend karma on armor or weapons, including trinkets, accessories, amulets, or back pieces. Everything else is free game.
-cannot learn any crafting professions; experience must be gained from hearts, events, and killing monsters. Which also means no dungeons or story quests.
-the bank can only be used for depositing, no withdrawals allowed.
-cannot join parties or intentionally run with other peasants; this is a solo adventure. Doing events or hearts with other players who are present are fine.
-you're a peasant; no dyes. existing starter brown colors or straight up dye removal only.
-No boosters of any kind.
Now, here's the greatest catch of them all, pay close attention.
-cannot wield ANY standard weapon or toolkits; all weapons used must be an environmental weapon such as rocks, boards, shovels, hoes, etc. The biggest concern with this one, generally, is that what if I am in an area that has no available environmental weapons? Since this is very valid concern, let me remind you that there are vendors throughout the world who sell environmental weapons already (like the ettin in southeast queensdale who sells bones you can swing). Use your karma and (this is the caveat mentioned above) money to stock up on these for when environmental weapons are not found. However you choose to use these weapons is totally up to you.
Mind you, this entirely on the honor system, and purely just for the fun of it. No one is going to monitor your progress except you, so you only have yourself to cheat.
Let me know if you have any questions, concerns, ideas, corrections, troll attempts, flaming or otherwise. If not, have fun with it! Take screenshots and videos and post them here. Tell your story about your lowly peasant!
