Because I'm actually disappointed I have seen so little talk about this upcoming festival.  I'm actually excited for once!  Last stand at southsun... meh.

Fire and Frost?  Meh.

I'm looking forward to chocob-- Moa racing!

It's a travesty! I want my Dragon Festival back! It's all about Rice Cakes and Nine Rings, not Dragon Pinatas. And what happened to the cute bettles?! Moas aren't cute!

Now that that's out of my system... I'm really excited for this festival.

I love these festivals.....GW2 has NOT disappointed me on festivals at all. I was never able to complete the Halloween or Wintersday jumping puzzles....I truly suck at timed JP's, but in good spirits I enjoy trying.

The jade weapons look pretty damn nice, I have my eye on the staff actually so I am hoping to get lucky with a ticket :D .

Even though I am eager to be making gold/collecting materials for a certain weapon I want........I will certainly enjoy getting into the Dragon Bash festivities...and it will be a nice little break from Southsun.

Dragonbash has a gamebreaking bug.
Consumables work.
So take a "gain health every second" food and you cannot die.
Serious problem..

Disappointed by this "festival"

1. Dragon Ball Arena is more like Quake 3 Arena in 3rd Person Mode (Pick weapons, jumping platforms).

2. The Moa bets are a huge money sink and all you do is watch, ANet are you even serious? Rollerbeetle Racing was much more fun.

3. Attack of the RNG, boxes with rare minis and weapons and of course there's the usual: Buy this box with 3 minis  > dump in forge and rebuy them and for 500 gems that's over 14 gold so make it 28 gold in total. ANet is too greedy.

The only good things that came with this update is the right click targeting toggle players been waiting for since release and the removal of the daily chest on Karka Queen event.

By Making those kind of prices ANet thinks people will get desperate and buy gems with real money, Sorry for them it doesn't work like that for me.

Yeah. My first 2-3 matches were fun. Then had a game with no opponents and cba to wait 24 mins.
Then I only got guys with those cons up.
Minipets also work.

lol at the moa event ... They should've let you have some control over the racing or something (like a mini version of mario kart!). But it's just basically like "gambling on horse racing".  Although now next patch I can look forward to Rata Sum Roulette and 21 at the soon to be renamed BlackJack Citadel.

I'm pretty excited about the holographic wings. Definitely gonna grab some of them but not sure where to get one except the trading post. Hoping they get real cheap soon as more people get them :D

ArmoredVehicle"
"Money making scheme disguised as an Event.
Moa Bets should be GW1 Rollerbeetle Racing style instead of a huge money sink
RNG Boxes and 3 Mini Pack, If you get this pack and the rare mini you have to spend another 500 gems for the full collection and that’s over 24 gold.
It’s all about the money and that’s exactly what I’ll never spend on this game."

Lol I made almost 100 gold by selling some coffers and the "wings" backpack.

Anyone seen the new weapon skins?

I'm not doing it until that's fixed. I hope they hand out another mass ban spree. It'd be interesting to see the forums filled with "I didn't know it was an exploit! Since when has immortality been an exploit?!"

Opened 400 dragon coffers, 10 rich dragon coffers. No weapon ticket. Such a complete joke, RNG, RNG, RNG; I've had enough.

Don't worry!  A lot of us will be joining you in the poor people corner if we keep hanging out at the moa race.  I blew at least 10g trying to get the buggy achievement and that's when I quit.  That mini moa can go die in a fire.  Mmmm extra crispy moa mcnuggets!

That's what I wanted to ask about - the drop rate of tickets. That's the thing I'm most interested in when it comes to this update, as I love some of the weapon skins. But as a player with very small amount of in game cash, who also doesn't buy gems too often and hence only gets coffers through drops, I don't think I have much to hope for even though I play a lot :(

Somewhat amused by the ‘So Lifelike’ (hologram) achievement, an ironic holiday event reversal of one aspect of the game’s ideology to encourage positive open world interaction. Last thing you want to meet is any non-team member given the competitive nature of finite spawns and constant travelling between them.

Given the rate at which the regular dragon coffers have been dropping, I suspect the rich coffers are the equivalent of the Southsun Cox Boxes we were presented with last time around, while the regular coffers are "well, it's possible to get a ticket..."

If the odds of getting a ticket from a regular coffer are even as high as the odds of getting minis from fortunes in Canthan New Year, I would be shocked.
Got any comments or queries about moderation in one of my spheres of responsibility? Make sure I get the message!

In your honest opinion, if you were a game designer, how many weapon tickets do you think you should have gotten from 400 dragon coffers? 1, 5, 10, 50?

I some times question the legitimacy of the numbers people through out there.. then entertain my self by picturing the person sitting in front of their computer with a pen and paper tallying off each coffer they open. idk how many I opened today but all I have to show for is the risen knight mini. some people in my guild have multiple weapon vouchers. and dragon wings off of reg coffers. it's a luck game, and tbh I feel like our chances now are a LOT better than what they were in Halloween and such.
