Did ANet lower the drop of Dragon Coffer?
When I kill mobs now I rarely get one, before I used to get at least one every three or four kills.
Yesterday I played for almost 2 hours and I got only 3  dragon coffers, the day before was even worst.
What's going on? I know I'm not lucky with drops but this is ridiculous I'm not buying anything from the ANet shop with real money, if this is a way for them to make players to shop, well I start to have enough of all these stupid things that are frustrating and not rewarding.
What kind of game is GW2 becoming? I miss the old one where I had so much fun for a very long time.

Relax guy.  You're suffering from a little bit of self-entitlement and mainly, RNG.

I've been farming holograms since the event opened and i can assure you, the drop rates haven't changed.  Also, the drop rates aren't any different for people who do or don't use the gem store.  Sorry to burst your bubble.  Keep at it.  They'll drop.

I've been farming these coffers since they got introduced and trust me they still drop the same as at the start of the event.

It's time to stop being so overdramatic all the time. geez.

Nope!  It sounds like you've got a bad case of badluckitis.  I'm doing map completion on an alt right now and getting a coffer every 2-3 kills.

why you want another RNG box is beyond me, but no the drop rate hasn't changed.  stop farming the same mobs in the same zone for hours on end.

it's sad how people will just blatantly bullshit and expect everyone to buy into it.

Using a character that's built for magic find will not hurt either. Playing in a low level area will also increase your kills per hour. I get 150 coffers per evening or 300 or above for a full day, I do this because I love the Jade Skins. I got 3 so far and planning for another 3 and hoping for a second pair of wing. ;)

Wouldn't care even if I got 800 coffers in 3 minutes. They never yield anything worthwhile anyway.

Open a box, OOh candy. Open another box, OOh candy again.

On and on it goes, and I've got to double-click another 100 more boxes. :D

I went a-mapping last night in Dissea Plateau and Frostgorge Sound and ended the night with well over 100 coffers. This also includes me not making a beeline for every holo I saw. I did do ones that were nearby, but it never was a top priority. My character was running zero magic find, and I would sidetrack to perform various events / harvest things / and solo that champion quaggan in Frostgorge. I don't have high hopes for getting anything good out of the ones I got, but a ticket or a pair of wings would be supercool. :)

What would be useful is a way to use up all that candy. At least candy corn has resource sinks in the form of chef recipes. One reason I think the trading post is currently flooded with taffy.

Hex.
[ Dear Anet, overuse of random number generator things is ... <eats 10 taffy> ]

Diminishing returns maybe?

I do agree with there being way too much RNG bs in this game tho.
