Nice update...since majority of my time is in PvE in open world or in surprise PUGs, I like the benefits of the Phalanx Strength option. I look forward to the new video guide, as I always pick up something new. Just a suggestion for new players, maybe a review of the basic rotation in the video would benefit those new to this thread. :)

For the solo dps build, the new video is advocating Blademaster, yet it appears the main weapon selection will still tend to be GS+Axe/Mace. Would it be better to use a more generally applicable trait like Deep Strike which could trigger off either Signet of Rage or the Battle Standard? The build may not generate a lot of conditions, but getting some condition boosts more often seems like it would be more useful than having an otherwise dead trait.

Also, maybe I'm missing something about how the new traits work for on-the-fly re-specs, but wouldn't it be possible to just switch the Arms master trait over to Blademaster at the same time when equipping the sword, and then swap back to something else when sword isn't equipped?

Yes, blademaster is only for when you are going to use offhand sword like a Lupicus. Most dungeon solos you tend to use offhand sword for every boss fight so thats why I consider it the stock trait for soloing.

So Nike, I'm sure you have been theory crafting since we got the Berzerker reveal. Any thoughts on how this may alter the builds we favor in this thread?

Yep.

Berserker probably won't replace Arms in the meta PS build, but Berserker could replace Arms for hard solos and could replace discipline for easy solos.

Berserker will replace Tactics in condition damage builds which will probably look a lot different than they do now.

hey Nike...like the new vid.

Question where I'd like to hear your thoughts...in the HoT areas where having that CC(break-bar) from your Mace/Mace swap is important...would you run that as your swap when in those tough PvE areas, or would you stick with Axe/Mace and switch over to M/M before say jumping in the chopper to go fight the Legendary Wyvern?

I have used both with success(as most of the time I don't leave GS during the dynamic events), however sometimes...stressed SOMETIMES...when all but the AA of GS is on cooldown...Eviscerate is a great gap closer to get back into the fight with an Axe 3, Eviscerate, Axe 2, and then switch back to GS.

Granted I have been one of the players who has NOT taken a great liking to the Berserker Spec, but I am willing to give it another shot. Your thoughts on the above will help me determine how to approach getting used to the new rotation. and adding in Headbut.
