As the title says, is it still worth to swap from Axe/Mace to Greatsword then?

If so, should I still to GS3 even though I'd need to get back to melee after?

I'd greatly appreciate if someone could show me some calculations that point out if it's still better DPS or a DPS loss

Thanks in advance

it's definitely worth using hundred blades and GS5. use whirlwind last, to cancel it halfway by swapping to axe so you don't whirl to far astray ;-)

GS3 is an evasion, so i would say to save it until you need to dodge an attack, that way you can dodge while DPSing, and you can always GS5 back to your target

In those situations, like Evolved Destroyer in COE3, I would START in gs, use 100b and Rush, then swap to axe and stick on axe for the remainder rather than starting on Axe and swapping to GS.

What if you have an ascended axe, but not an ascended GS. Is it still worth the swap?
