What food and utility buffs do you usually have up?

Usually, I am only running with Peach Tart up since it's fairly inexpensive to purchase a stack at the trading post.

Candied Dragon Rolls (cheaper, albeit shorter duration than their Omnomberry Pie counterpart) and a dungeon specific potion, or Quality Sharpening Stones in general play.

Dragon food definitely...  cheap & usually some of the best generic buffs you can get.  Especially the lifesteal on crit ones.

If it doesn't really require a specific build or crit rate, then Steak Frittes are the cheapest way to go so long as you're already hanging around Orr often enough to happen across a Lotus every 30 minutes.  And even if you're not, they're still really cheap.

Against the hardest content...  there's only 1 thing to choose from and EVERYONE runs it...   Orrion Stew <_<

Usually peach tarts like op. I make them for the crafting dailies, as the ingredients are cheap and I usually already have what I need. Its not the best but its not the worst. And if I have an abundance of them I make a tray of peach tarts and pass them out during farming events and things.

With the recent magic find nerf, I think Omnomberry tarts and bars are quite nice to use.  Also, peach tarts and raspberry peach bars for the next tier down.  I generally craft my own food, so I tend to look for consumable that offer good magic and use mostly easy to obtain resources... I'm so sick of never getting any sage or vanilla beans that I look for alternatives ;)

Minotaur steaks (or their higher level equivalents) are also a pretty nice food for the berzerker in all of us.

Either Plate of Steak and Asparagus or Blackberry Pie (I go for the cheap food), and Quality Maintenance Oil.

I don't bother with food buffs. I got enough stuff to juggle as a mesmer or elementalist. Keeping my eye on a timer through a dungeon to remember to eat my food just seems like a lot of work.

Whatever I crafted latest when leveling up another chef.  I always forget about them anyway.  I have some peach tarts in my bag which I crafted somewhere earlier this year (around February or March).  50 of them.  I got 30 or so left...

I mean, a lot of the 10%/10% hour long potions are dirt cheap now because people spammed them for post 400 Artificing, if dungeons are taking you longer than an hour, you're doing something wrong, and 10% damage does make a difference.

Omnomberry pie 66% chance to steal life on crit, as a warrior I crit a lot so this food does wonders for me, even after the nerf that added an internal cooldown.

I'd imagine so. 1% would make a difference. I don't recall saying I had an issue with money or dungeons taking longer than an hour. My issue is carrying a stack of food, doing multiple things and remembering to eat a piece of food or take a potion once an hour just to be "the most efficient."

Maybe if the game required more skill and had a risk of failure I'd worry about it.
