Hi,

I came back to GW2 since i left it shortly before Halloween.

I spend the last 2 days levelling my guardian to lvl 80 and already had a thief on 80.
But no gear at all. I also spend some time checking patch notes from the last month but due to the tons of changes I can´t keep up.

I would like to know the most important changes. Not class balance things but I saw a lot of new zones on the maps. Are they all open for players?

I also saw the adventure box. Am I right that this now is a stable part of the game or will it still disappear after some weeks to come back in a few month?

WvWvW: What did changed? Before it was kind of boring now I hope they changed the worst things and it´s fun. J

How about Dungeons and gearing up? I found a thread pinned here how to gear up at lvl 80 but not sure if its outdated or not because magic find still is discussed there and now does not exist as stated in there.
So is it still worse(gold item wise) making dungeons or grinding events in the southern areas as after 4 month past release or are there any ways/spots to do this.
I´m sure there are a lot of ways to do this and its personal preference how to earn your money but what’s the most popular?

Dunno. Just over all I’m searching a way to find back fast into the game since I still feel pretty amazed by the game J

Thx!

There's the LV 80 Southsun Cove accessible from a gate in L.A.

Gearing your lvl 80s up in the best outfits possible to me is a good use of time at level 80. I am not a big fan of leveling which it seems you have been concentrating on so far. Do some research into weapons and outfits and settle for nothing but the very best.

Gold is wonderful, but most of my favorite items are not buy able with gold. However as you're doing the dungeons trying to get the gear you want, the gold comes.

I feel grinding is unnecessary, it is only something I do when I cannot commit my time to a dungeon team.
