Keep up the sketching everyone! If you used a reference image, that would be great to see as well. (Give us some other images to practice with) :D

Here a bunch of doodles. It started with the woman in the middle, I failed to draw the neck - torso, I gave up - I doodled the things on the right.
And then..! I drew the body on the left in a serious attempt. Then I noticed the pose was awkward and gave it a name. Then, the arm on the left failed and finally I drew the arm on the right behind her back (I even failed doing that..).
Anyhow I was overall pleased with how it came out :surprised: It's the first body ever (except for the arms) that came out pretty reasonable to me :p.
Can I get some feedback and criticism on it? It's very much appreciated. :) Drawing bodies is so hard :(

Don't pay attention to the written stuff, it became a habit.. -.-

It quickly occurred to me that the perspective on the command prompt window was a bit difficult for me to draw, so I kept the text and details on it as minimal as I could without reducing the conveyance of the idea. In Tron: Legacy, Flynn creates a program within the Grid, and it's pretty cool how he does it. However, I decided this would be the real extent of any creation of programs within a virtual environment; being able to see three-dimensional directory trees, and creating the new program directory along one of the branches! :D There are a few perspective glitches here and there, I'm aware, but, eh. It's a bunch of lines.

Yeah. Whenever I tried touching it up (I think it's the right that's really wobbly) on the right side, I realized the scroll bar details were what threw off the perspective. Then I decided I'd rather get the body of the idea down worked out than focus on that. :D Also, it's literally meant to be the command prompt window as a 2 dimensional window in 3 dimensional space. I can't find an image from the Tron: Legacy at the moment to show what brought it to mind, at the moment, but it may make more sense if ever I do.
Also, what Amannelle said on your drawing.

I like that first charcoal drawing of yours Neo Nugget! ^^ I tried drawing with charcoal once but I just smudged everything all over the place haha. Apart from that charcoal is pretty awesome stuff! But charcoal is more for .. non-detail drawings I think?
That smoke photo really brings out the complexness of smoke! Nice shot Elu :D
And last but not least, this is for you Con_Artist:
I can't shade too, I just randomly toss in some shades without thinking of any lightsource! :')
Oh and by the way, I actually like the 'messy' lines. Sketchy drawings are always a win for me.

And it's not really a sketch, but I made a Walrus :D There's plenty of things wrong with this, like the colour? ;P It was meant to go grey - Yay clay!

i have been drawing since i was 5 years (never did drawing school tough)
the progres is slow but you need to keep trying, your lines are good but the proportions of the head and body needs to be reworked,
you learn it when you try

@actionjack: I still wonder what would have happened if I kept going for it. I already had a few works put on exhibit in Baltimore Museum of Art, so I was doing something good.
I tried drawing more fantasy-based drawing some time last year, and I even made a few monster pieces, but by then I had lost my spark. Arts more of an "out of the blue," hobby. I pick up a pencil whenever I want, and just draw something. I don't really go for the 10+ hours of sitting in front of a blank sheet of paper ripping out my hair trying to figure out why I can't get an eye to point a certain way. I used to find it fun, but now it's tedious. :(
@Astrum Nitidus: You're really good! You have a very good grasp of male anatomy, and I can't wait to see more of your work! :)

Astrum Nitidus: The proportions are off, I know. No reference, no good sense of anatomy. I just went for it, really.
Here's another piece of mine that I made after Factions was released, where I played with watercolor. A few minutes into it I realized I had no idea what I was doing so I stopped and watercolor fail was created, lol. :D

some drawings are the first try of the manga book from Christopher Hart which is a good source for the anatomy and positions. it is hard because i never did drawing school.
i didn't got far in the book (too much schoolwork )i have to practise a lot to draw good, but i am learning.
i originaly draw cars (still do) but the steady hand and look for detailes are the same :)
