This band speaks to my soul...I know they are overplayed to exhaustion right now on many radio stations, but it still works for me.  They have the concert start to finish on Youtube, I would check it out if you like this one...I would love to see this band live.




I know this one is repetitive, but can be powerful.  Sucks that she dumbed down the beat for this cover...great voice but the heavy beat really supports it in the original and its just not there in this one.

I like your taste in music...I had to go back in the thread a bit to check out other stuff.  It's fun to discover so many new bands.  There is so much great stuff out there, it just sucks that we don't have enough time to find every last one

on topic- I am driving halfway across the United States tomorrow...I am reminded of Regina Spektor for some reason.  Classically trained but quirky/emotional, hits a home run every album with at least a couple songs.  Many people I meet can't stand her style, but there is something about this Russian that drives me crazy.  If you can survive the first 45 seconds it might work for you.

Eddie and the zeroes...one of their better performances from last year.  I like how the drummer brings the band and the crowd back together with 2 leading beats when they start to clap offbeat at 2:30.

Sweet little song...I keep going back to this driving in my car.  The lyrics are hard to make out on most versions beacuse she has a unique accent.  There are a few covers but they don't seem to do it justice
