After playing since the start of GW2, i decided to check out the home instance. I must say that i is a bit disappointed, and i would like to know:

Has Anet said any thing about the direction they are heading with the home instance?

I far as i know the only things added to the home instance is the resource nodes that can be added.

There are some changes, coming along with your progress in the personal story but not much

They said that they want to make more changes in the home instance, but I don't really know what or when..

Pretty sure any plans they might have had are abandoned by now. We haven't heard anything about the home instance for a long time now.

Every so often we got some permanent additions to the home instance for completing the living story metas (various mining nodes and a place of power). It looks like that's the direction they've decided to go in. Its a bit of a cop-out, but its something I guess.

I'd trade that instance for housing/guild halls any day. But yeah, it seems to never be on the Anet radar, other than the nodes.

I don't think I've been in any home instance in at least a year. I don't even remember how to get to some of them. A guild hall would be great to implement.
