Title.

For the plantlife: Nomad stats were introduced in this update, they give ++Toughness, +Vit, +Healing.

Now, I want to hear your opinions about this.

From the perspective of someone who plays a full Cleric Guardian this seems to be a rather nice set, at least I would replace my armor with it.

I'm going to lose 235 Power and 94 Healing to gain 2350 HP and 94 Toughness. Now this is a massive boost to my survivability but at what cost? 235 Power may seem like a lot but Cleric Guardian hits like plush truck anyway, it's not like I'm gonna see any difference. 94 Healing is no big deal either when I have over a thousand anyways.

From other classes perspective? ♥♥♥♥ knows. As it stands the only two classes that can make good use of Healing are Eles and Guards.

disqus plz or i report u

Guess full support necro (well-o-mancer) could use it.

If you want to go all out support I can see engineers, ele's, necro's & possibly warriors using this. Anybody else I don't think will be able to pump out enough healing to make much use of it.

Also you should try celestial guardian. The + condition damage is kinda meh but everything else works very well. I have a set and do decent damage in it while providing a ton of support whilst having good survivability.

On another note I would still like to see gear with +precision, +power, +vitality (same as barbarian in Spvp) added to pve.

PS: it sucks that all the new food & crafted gear is bind on equip.

I'd use it for commanding Tequatl, Wurm, or WvW, but that's about it.

I'll be much more interested when they add it to PvP and I will never die again on my bunker guardian or engineer.

Given how tanky/healy it is I'd say its safe to say they will never add it to Spvp. At least not without some major changes to the game first.

Nomad gear is trashy.
You're weakening your contribution to the content you're doing by being a fully-defensive stat build.

In a group setting, I agree.  If you want to be a support character, you should select gear that has primary Healing Power and has some offensive stat as a secondary so that you can contribute to everyone, not just yourself.

On Eles and Rangers it's not really sacrificing anything I guess b/c they don't have any base DPS for "Pow" to be affecting in the first place. But anyone who takes it on Guardian is missing the whole point of Guardian methinks.  Retaliation would need some MASSIVE buffs back to the way it originally was at launch for this to ever be considered a gameable Stat combo and if it was then you'd literally be bringing back Terra/Sin Tanks and the entire set would have to be disabled in Structured PVP competitive 5-rings

You could make one hell of an annoying Trolling-Bait warrior or thief for WvW I guess.
Wouldn't accomplish much but it would rustle a lot of ganker jimmies
