5 Year Guild Wars Player, over 3500 hours, 45/50 HoM. Rank 5 Gladiator, Rank 7 Hero. Rank 3 Commander. Rank 8 Kurzick.
Here I am, in Guild Wars 2, 140 hour playtime, level 80 Guardian and I can hardly find a reason to continue playing.
Skill system - absolutely boring and repetitive.
Level 1-80 Greatsword/ Sword And Shield.
3-4-2 Switch weapon 3 8 roll back 7 roll back 2 switch weapon and repeat again and again.
Staff/Mace is terrible because most of the time you'll be soloing alone anyway.
Traits, at least for me, don't affect my play style at all. +20 HP each time I attack with my Greatsword? Insignificant. Instant Meditation? Yeah, whatever. Bigger symbols - yay?
Active combat doesn't even matter since you can zerg everything and all bosses just stand there and wait for you to attack/don't move.
Instances - zerg.
There's no real reason to play tactical. Sure you might die few times but hey, you go back, repair your armor, and continue fighting till you win. Take 5 Melees and zerg, the key to victory in guild wars 2.
There's no real challenge.
PVP - chaotic mess.
Plain and simple Zerg with lags - WvW.
sPvP. Joke.
Heroes Ascent, give it back, how hard could it possibly be to make 10 square maps with relics, gates and 1 big Hall Of Heroes? Is 8v8 the problem?

These two things are missing. There's no real reason to team up with anyone unless youre doing a dungeon run or fighting a dragon or champion boss.
Played about 4 hours today, don't think I said more than 15 sentences.
Hell, even Lion's Arch USA -1 District was more active than GW2 LA.
