I'm pretty sure that while you're scaled to 80 in WvWvW, you don't automagically get traits.
Without those 70 trait points, a 'scaled up lvl 7' is going to get owned by a 'real 80'.



BTW, not sure you realized it, but people may have tastes different than yours.  Your post is essentially asking "why does everyone like blue?  Orange is clearly the better color, blue is pointless."

It's not unusual to think the Norn dance doesn't fit.

   But yeah, don't think it fits the lore and culture of them at all, but who ever heard of an Asura body popping? Still a shame, they could have chose a whole lot of better dances, hopefully the dance vendor sells better dances, if it actually exists.

They can ignore them, and they will get everything they like. They don't need to do this to unluck something. It just gives them some money and some cosmetics.
They aren't jumping puzzles. You do little to no jump at all. In some of them. (Like 20% of them) I haven't jumped once. Maybe there are others that need more jumping. But they are just a few.
They don't like the map completition, they are just here for the items. If it didn't give any items, they won't be complaining. If they really liked to explore or the map completition, they will be doing them.

Well, it certainly is interesting to me that out of all the "broken promises" (No death penalty, free resspecs, account-wide dye unlocks) that the No account-wide dye unlocks seem to be causing the most controversy, and are arguably the only "cosmetic" thing out of the three!


Why are people more upset about this "broken promise" then the other ones?

As I said, it's a beta.

In the last beta they had character slots in the Gem store, now they don't. That doesn't mean that they aren't going to be selling character slots. It's not impossible that ArenaNet simply didn't want players using Transmutation stones during the most recent beta event.

Who said that was removed? The BWE1 only had up to level 25 zones, so none of the high-level karma vendors were even accessible. Add to that the fact that the majority of the Karma vendors clearly have yet to be given their proper stock (I highly doubt they're all just going to be selling bread) and I see no reason to believe that they aren't still going to be sold for Karma.

It's amazing how quick people are to jump to conclusions about the finished game based on information from an early-mid beta test.

Seriously - before the prepurchase you knew enough about the game to decide if you want it or not. And if you bought a Collector's Edition, you were confident enough in the product to spend your money. You don't spend 150 bucks on something you didn't research on and find good.

I know the character-based / accountwide issue is a bit nerve-wracking, but to say "I regret prepurchasing" is clearly overreacting!

You didn't have to put your money down. And even with this "issue" (and believe me - I'm not happy either, don't "fanboi" me...) it's still a really really great game and having played it I am at the point that I would buy it again if it brings the release nearer... The withdrawl is strong in me.
I will simply decide not to buy so much stuff in the cash shop. That's all. It's not as if they would be selling 100 gamebreaking things all of the sudden.
