#1845215 What's your opinion on the cutscenes?

So far I have to say I liked the GW1 cutscenes more.

#1708495 Worries about pay2win tendencies

Fake concern post designed to create negative feedback, successful.
Thank god the game is about to be out and I wont have to look at these awful things anymore.

#1703963 Guild Wars 2/3 on Consoles and at Gamescom?!

Posted rkim86 on 10 August 2012 - 03:08 AM

While I could see potential in a PS3 version, the Xbox can just...yeah, no.

Not because it the console can't run it.  But because of Microsofts LIVE policy.  FF XI worked and continues to work well, but that was before the new policy came into effect.  Ever since then it's...yeah.....

ArenaNet: We want our blockbuster title on your network!
LIVE: Okay!  But we're going to rape you more than the credit card companies do!
ArenaNet:  Uhhh...I guess that's okay, we'll have to talk with our publisher though...
LIVE: Also we'll be running your game off our servers.
ArenaNet: Excuse me?
LIVE: We have a policy that states Xbox players can only play with other Xbox players.  The other networks have cooties.
ArenaNet:  But!..
LIVE: They'll also need a gold membership to play the game.
ArenaNet:  You're charging them a subscription to play OUR game?!
LIVE: We offer a stellar service that warrants it.  Take Netflix for example.  Free on Wii, free on PS3 and PC.  But we charge on top of Netflix's subscription because we're Microsoft.
ArenaNet:  I don't....but...wha?....
LIVE: Sign here please.

#1544230 Large-scale group (guild) organized PvE content?

I'm sure there have been things that have been repeated in this thread.  But closing it denies other members of the community to pipe in and put forth their opinions.

You'd be surprised, it's always possible that someone comes along and provides some new information and twist to the topic that we may have not looked at.  Just sayin'..

Apparently it's important enough for not just people like Lethality, but others as well to post their comments and point of view.

Its not important really, most of us just dont like seeing GW2 defamed.
Also this thread has been buried, twice and he resurrected it himself.

So since we cant call a spade a spade I prefer to simply defend gW2 for what it is. But it doesn't make it an important issue, actually to most of the player base of GW2 this is largely irrelevant.

Evade what, exactly? You had nothing discernible that added to the discussion. You displayed ignorance to what the term synergies even means.
You said there was nothing for groups to do. I stated that a five-man group going into an sPvP match (and being matched up with randoms) will generally stomp the other side, because they know how to work together, work off each other, and strategise, while their enemy will be disorganised and less responsive. You said I didn't respond and that I don't understand synergy.

You are full of crap. I have helped put together raids, I have helped put together rated battleground groups, looking at the classes, the players, the strategies, etc. And when I give you an example, you whine that I didn't say anything. I did, and you are full of it. I listed off a bunch of things small groups could to in GW2 and you keep whining that I haven't, that no one has.

Why the mods let you keep posting this bullshit is beyond me.

#1534671 Why Is Endgame a problem?

I did all of that. I learned about the Mists. But there's still no _purpose_ for the fighting that ties into the real story of the game, which is that of the Elder Dragons.

Lore might be the only thing to get be into PvP.

You haven't been here for the whole discussion, which I can't blame you because it goes so fast.

I've compromised on several points, on multiple occasions but no one from the other side is willing to budge - "NO RAIDS" they say, despite explanation that's not what's wanted. They're not listening, just talking.

Also, I didn't say unique story elemtents are part of the instances, but that story should drive _all_ content for everyone. And it simply doesn't in PvP.
Yet you have on multiple occasions said you want instanced content designed for large groups that drop special content....
What you said, post 725, page 25
That whole idea goes back to the need for special, instanced content though - which is what I suggested, but everyone is against. I;d prefer this whole mess be solved with 20 man dungeons or instanced dynamic events.

That's you asking for special instanced content designed for large groups...

You in post 668, page 23 asking for special loot in an open world enivronment...
It can still reward them the same as it does now... nbut the guild that "tags" it or "spawns" it would have an extra loot table and achievement set available to them. That would go a long way in satisfying what we're looking for while keeping the GW2 mantra in check

Now mind you, a special loot table and achievments would NOT keep the point of GW2 intact.

Now we have your post 747, page 25 where you contradict yourself from your 668 post...
Not looking for any special loot at all. Simply the ability to play group content with my guild that was designed for our numbers.

Of course this post of yours once again asks for special consideration to large groups.

You can keep claiming all you want you aren't asking for raids and that wee aren't listening to you, but the problem is you aren't listening to yourself.  You may not use the word raid, but you are demanding the very definition of a raid.  And you constantly contradict yourself.
