They need to release the missing lore in some way. It can be a bonus mission pack, some Fractals, blog posts, or something - but it does need to happen. I think the player base deserves to see it!

Because I do not believe they are currently competitive in PvE and thus would avoid them until ANet buffs them. I am not the only person that thinks this way...
