Well, so far we have a charr (Rox) and a norn (whose name slipped my mind for the moment
) and from the looks of it Lady Kesmeer could be the human (depending how they spin her in the upcoming living story). So all we need is an asura and a sylvari ^^
Then we're all set to go kick bubbles behind.

The issue here is that there is literally nothing in GW2 that shows your personal skill at something - or anything that challenges the upper spectrum of players - or anything that rewards you for an impressive feet. There is only gemstore goods - and ANet is doing it in the "Limited time offer - buy now!" fashion.
They seem to have ensnared players who don't know any better, and use GW1 as their litmus for a good MMO - but the overarching masses have written GW2 off as a KMMO shitfest and jumped ship.
If GW2 ever has content that is challenging and gives unique skins, I'll play it again - but as I see it now, after doing FotM level 40 with a group of no-gear people; GW2 is not that game.
As it stands, GW2 is a game that appeals to ultra-casuals - and not casuals as in "low play time" - casuals as in "Very bad players" - who would rather spend RL-money or farm gold to get presitgious armor, rather than get it from challenging PvE content.
edit: If bad players want to grind easy content, that's their perogative.
I just want the option of legitimatly hard content - and ANet seems to be unable to deliver that; and instead focuses 100% on cranking out "limited time offer!!" gemstore shit.
To each their own. I suppose I should be happy for you: You found a game that appeals to your interest in mediocrity.

Lol, you really should stop assuming things, hint you aren't as smart as you think.
I never said that guildwars 2 is challenging, or that it was the best game out there. It's a decent game, nothing over the top but better than other mmo's out there (better meaning more interesting, to me, guess what, people ahve opinions, weird right? and whats weirder? they don't always match up to yours.)
I just want that armor and i couldn't care less whether or not it's gemstore or not. Cry all you want, aslong as i can make my character look awesome in kick ass armor i couldn't care less whether someone who doesn't like the game, yet spends her/his time on the forums of said game , thinks about it.
Nice talking to ya

The difference is being challenged and interacting with a storyline relevent to the armor; and grinding uninteresting, boring content to get the armor through means that are irrelevent to the story.
Is this about your pace? ^^

But you did remind me how nice it is to see such people like you who only care about how they play and want everyone esle to play the same way.

Gold - gems is currently 3 to 4 gold per 100 gems. If the armor's going to cost 500 gems, you're looking at 15-20 gold for a a set of skin. You need to pay extra for the stats to go along with those skins.
The shoulders are nice IMO. The rest looks like a rehash of the crafted exotic heavy armor but with fewer details.

I already have the stats i need on all my characters (plus they are really free since i play the dungeons and have plenty of tokens incase i need a new stat combo. 15-20 g is still not bad at all, definately not for such a goodlooking armor. It's about the same as T2 cult armor (which looks horrendous in most if not all cases)

Quote me: That armor will be gems-only.
Fine by me, as long as i can get it , i really don't care how. Whether i grind the gold to buy it on gemstore or in the game from a vendor , i'll have to grind anyway with the same result
Tell me the difference between getting the money to buy the armor for a vendor and getting the money to buy gems and get it from the gemstore. Same thing and getting it from the gemstore would be loads cheaper then getting it ingmae. 500gems (armor costs for the alrdy existing sets, shoudl be same for new armors) is 10 gold, thats a hell of a lot cheaper then a lot of armors ingame.
