In Topic: Why do people want mounts?

What I would love, is specific maps built for mounted combat, with mounts readily available at different locations. (Yes I got the idea from Borderlands, shoot me.) If they were to design an enjoyable mounted combat system, that doesen't allow you to accelerate and decelerate in 1 milisecond I would enjoy that a lot. They idea behind the specially designed areas is that it won't ruin the current content. Come on, driving across a plain on a Charr Warbike would be awesome:p

By that logic lotro should have had the entirety of middle earth avialble since launch, since it's present in lore.

Just because something is present on the world map, doesn't mean it exists in the actual playable map.
