Alternatively, they could update the heart quest conditions during that particular day/week.......farmer joe usually needs your help to protect his cabbages from local wildlife, but this week the flame legion charr are attacking ebonhawk and they are destroying his cabbages (to reduce the food supply to the ebonhawk troops). Killing the local wildlife and/or charr attacking his cabbages provides progress on that particular heart.
Heart quests don't have a lot or replayability in them (some can be boring after doing them a couple of times), so maybe this would help?

I wasn't upset about it. My laptop that I play gw2 on isn't powerful to keep up with the extra demands of the game in events like this, so I was expecting lag and rendering issues. My point was that it's possible to be knocked about in LA without having a costume on (such as being being knocked off of the platforms leading to the cauldron).

Running through the slideshow that is LA yesterday, my ele interacted with what I hoped was a karma vendor, but was, because of lag, actually something to do with a 'food fight'.....despite not being in any costume, I found myself in the costume brawl because of this food fight and was knocked around by.....poltergeists? I guess they were poltergeists because there weren't any character models loading and being rendered for me.

When it's ready.

They released gw2 before it was ready, so maybe the expansions will be as well?
