LOL being upset because you're not encouraged to machinegun through attunements. You still have 20 skills, 24 when you count the effects of the swap themselves. Then 5-20 more from Conjurations if you really feel you're gimped. Elementalist have by far one of the most interesting and useful mechanics in the game.

15 seconds is how it was in the recent public builds. Did you mean to quote the masteloup because you're arguing about stuff I either agree with or know myself?

That is a problem specific to the Staff's Water Skills overall. Doubt it makes it into the real game so healing centered. Correct me if I'm wrong but the 15 second cooldown is only for the previously used Attunement. You can still swap to the other two if that terrible set were to make it in game.

Of course Anet is not that stupid. I said seven because you also have 3 utility skills. Total agreement about the state of the Water Staff. Just don't agree with the hate for the 15 second cooldown on the flawed idea it makes you useless for a time.

Clearly with a 15 second cooldown swapping attunements constantly for a single skill is not Anet's intention with the class. Really bringing up an extremely old build as an example of a "good" Elementalist? Attunements are playstyle and situational calls not a button you press in response to every action your opposition takes. 7-11 seconds with skills you don't need? That is absolutely the worst attitude and perspective towards skill use I've read in a long while. You have 7 other skills besides the one in cooldown. No way none are of any use.
