First of all I'd like to introduce myself.
I'm an 18 year old male, 5'11", measuring in at approximately 130 pounds.
I have no known medical conditions, and as far as I and my GP are aware, I am perfectly healthy.
I have found, that over the last year, I have not gained a single pound, despite how much I eat. I eat huge portions of food at dinner, and the leftovers (occasionally lots) I eat also.
Due to the fact I have these eating habits, my age and my mass, I believed I had a very high metabolism, as I did little exercise each day.
To experiment with this, I began doing daily sessions of exercise, which lasted about 30 minutes every day. This varied from push ups, to squats, lifting weights etc.
After about a month of this, I had gained no visible/measurable mass whatsoever.
I concluded that this could be genetic, as my mother is quite skinny.
I was wondering, if any of you had any tips for me, on changes/introductions to my diet, types of exercise, programs which may help. I am going to university quite soon, and would like to get my BMI into a reasonable region (not underweight).
All relevant questions are welcome, all HELP is appreciated.
