Personally, I'd prefer a mix of open world and instance. The open world should serve to immerse the player while instances deliver well-constructed content.

Sounds like dungeons.

My list for Dynamic Events:
Harder DE's.
150-300 new Events in the world. More the better.
Improved Meta events(longer chains, harder, better world impact) and loot chests after each of them.
Achievements:
Laureals for each completed achievement, not only daily/monthly.
Many fun achievements, like kill 15 turkeys in 1 minute.
WvWvW:
Spell effects slider.
Ranking system. With very hard King rank for best of the best.
PvP:
PvE reward from SPVP
More maps and modes.
Arena!

2 things I just found out about this game that may put me off playing it. Looks like it will be 1st person view (kokpit) only combat, no third person in combat, also it will have in game credits for real life cash like the gems in gw2. :( Has put me off bothering to play this when it comes out now. Seems like all games are headed down this new buy everything you want with RL cash route....

And what is the problem with gems?
Bought some just for re-custumization.

Anet to acknowledge my idea at the very least.  They never mentioned using the generic models previously.  All they talked about was server lag etc.  They didn't have a clue until they probably heard my idea to use the same models for everyone.

Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh,
Thank god you were there -_-

On topic:
Sounds good, but really depends on the implementation.
Hope this and february WvW improvements will be good enough to start playing WvW again.

Dont rush!
Do whatever you want and feel, almost every activity gives you experience(crafting,farming,exploring...)
If you enjoyed Shaman in WoW, try Engineer. He is a mechanical shaman(turrets instead of totems, also very versatile and fun...)
The endgame basically starts at level 1. There is no drastic delimitation. So dont wait something very different at lvl 80.
Try WvWvW and SPvP, no matter what lvl you are.
Dont spend Karma till lvl 80 :)
Dont over use waypoints, you will get poor fast.
Complete maps at 100% before leaving it. Cool rewards and money.

One important thing in PvE. After an Dynamic event is finished dont run! You will lose the fun. Wait a couple a seconds to see if it chains further and enjoy.
