Good post. The RNG boxes seem to be a plague across all Free2Play games nowadays. It's obviously a big money maker for the games now so if anything I expect them to be expanded upon, not reduced in any way.
It is ironic that SWTOR's free2play/cash shop model is so reviled but yet has one improvement (in my opinion anyway) on GW2's cash shop and lock boxes. Anything you acquire from their gambling boxes is soulbound on use. So it allows everything to be traded if someone doesn't want that item. While it won't solve the problem of the RNG boxes I do think it would alleviate some of the irritant of having them in the game.
right click targeting has been a pain for me ever since the game has released. I constantly use it to pan my camera around to see the battlefield but I keep losing my targets because of it. I've gotten used to it by now but I wish they would correct it.
I would take anything the NCSoft suits say with a grain of salt. I remember them saying GW2 would be released within 6 months at one point and it ended up being released 2 years later.
