Don't know why you're surprised. Pick any game forum with a lot of hype and a large forum presence years before the game is released. The community from the date the forum is made, until the day the game is released is amazing. Day after the games release, lucky to find a good thread that's not a whine post.

I can understand your frustrations. I'm a WvW player mainly so doing multiple fractal runs with added rng, just for some upgraded rings and backpack was mind numbingly boring. Sadly it wasn't for a title though, but for stats that are necessary to compete in a WvW environment.

It's quite honestly the worst drop rate I've experienced throughout the game. I was there for 3-4 hours, and when i went to cursed Shore afterwards i made the same amount of gold off 1 event.

There's also very few events on this map.

I was doing the same until I got extremely lucky. Looted Leaf of Kudzu from a Cursed Shore event. Sold it and got my Storm.

The voice in instanced PvP seems to have changed. Sounds weird now... Like It's on negative pitch on a turntable.

Loved TB's video, great commentary.
