He also hinted that the film will likely be PG-13, pointing to Batman as an example of a film that was still able to push boundaries without an R rating.
Finally I will not read to much spoilers. It is certainly hyped to the stars if it is compared to Avatar effects and Game of Thrones deeper story. Personally while I think Game of Thrones is good it is overrated. I like roughly Mortal Kombat(1995) at least as much as Game of Thrones.
I think it's pretty save to say that you are not the target audience for Game of Thrones and pretty much just watched it cause everyone else said it's blazing and now consider it 'good' because so many people told you it is, that it must be.
Might sound harsh, but those who read your posts know what your preferences are when it comes to cinematic entertainment and a fantastic story with fleshed out characters certainly didn't rank very high in those yet.
So it's no surprise that you'd compare Mortal Kombat with Game of Thrones. It's absurd really, but it's well within your rights to do so.
Now on the topic of the Warcraft movie, I'm looking forward to see the first snippets of it. I can't really imagine they'd have the budget to make something as visually stunning as Avatar and they certainly don't have the writers to be as full of depth as Game of Thrones is. Though did Stargate make that comparison or was it an actual comparison someone made who is involved with the production, I wonder?
