Really surprised the thief is such a little used player as it was pretty popular in GW1 because of all the gimmick builds it could muster. It was right there with the 55 monk.

Kind of figured the Guardian would rule since it's like a warrior with heals basically. I can solo a lot with mine and I never use dodge ability. I think that was the silliest thing they could have put in this game. Most players just want to wham bam thank you mam play and not so much tactical bs.

So MMO's are changing to F2P with cash-shop model why you know for sure that sub-fee brings more money?
And LOL at other MMo's bringing out more content, howmuch content did WoW put out the 12 months before MoP?
Let me tell you howmuch, in 14 months before MoP, WoW brought exactly 1 content update, while people payed a sub-fee every month.
Please tell me how Anet is behind that..

And how is it a failed experiment? TES:O is already following GW2 in combat, skills, character roles and PvP.. :)

Except GW2 already sold over 3 million units, a number those games could only dream of.

Selling and "maintaining" enough population to continue to reap revenue and benefits is another thing though. The consensus isn't as popular as GW1 was in its beginnings. It's like Diablo III I bought it too but I don't still play it....piece of garbage much like this one turned out to be.

Try playing the meat and potatoes of GW2 before making statements regarding the importance of a feature. If you haven't been past level 40, and haven't been in a dungeon, you don't know what you're talking about. That's simple fact. And claiming "excellent skillsets" at level 40 trash mobs is really laughable.

The statement was made "If you dont dodge and move you wont survive " I merely replied to that statement as untrue. The poster did not mention lvl 80 but did mention dungeons as an "addon" which I agree with. But, you do "not' have to dodge and move to survive the entire game.

If you want to label someone who wants a smooth run without having to carry dead weight around an elitist...yup. That's your ego.

Once again: it doesn't matter what you can accomplish in the game if you refuse to offer any proof of such to those who matter: the people organizing the party. You expect me to take on faith that you can do what you claim?

Another aspect of this argument: If you're willing to troll a group of people by using subpar gear in 80+ level content, then I'm willing to bet that you're the sort of guy to ignore the player laying on the ground downed because he got caught, muttering to yourself (or exclaiming it loudly in chat) that he's a noob and deserves to die. One more reason to not let you in my group. Because shit happens, and someone choosing to play solely for him/herself will be no good any group of mine.

My question here is what proves you any better than the one you complain about? There's no "Proof" that you're even skilled at what you do only your <cough> "word". lol So just because you're group leader that makes you "special"? lol I see a lot of the pots calling the kettles black here.

Underworld and DoA without gimmick builds and con sets would love to have a word with you :)

Boy you got that right brothermandude! Plus how about all that cheating the "Players" do with gimmick builds like invulnerable assassins and 55 hit point Monks? eh yeah how about that? Anet built some fine challenging ai it was the players who exploited it.....cheating like they did.
