If items in -item-shop are pure cosmetic or offer items that you can get in game without spending in game money i don't have any problem with it.

Why is it so hard for people to grasp this simple concept?

The weapons in GW2 are not "more powerful" or "less powerful" than one another.

Each is simply a different approach to combat. A different "playstyle" if you will.

U don't have acces at level 1-10 to all 5 skills of your weapon. I understand that they are balanced when you have access to all of your weapon skills. But for example 1-3 hammer skills have more dps then 1h sword skills so everybody would use hammer. So read my post again why that's bad.

It can be balance related thing. Since 2h weapons have more dmg with 1-3 skills then 1h weapons. Becouse of that and the thing that you can't use all of your 1-5 spells at low lvls make them unbalanced. If uyou had unlocked greatsword from the start you would use it becouse it would kill monster faster then any of the 1h weapons and since off hand skills are locked dual wield is meaningless.

Dev probably don't want to throw new players on the deep water. If you had all the weapons and skills from the begining you would have more dmg, so then monsters had to be stronger or the game would be too easy and grind feast like.
