I appreciate the effort Laylyn. Things like this ruin wvw for everyone.
If anything like this happened to BG/JQ, I'd definitely be more than happy to try and kill the seige from my end (SBI. I have always lurked before and not posted, but felt the need to express my support for inter-server cooperation to deal with this.)

I suddenly have a newfound appreciation for natural decay of seige weapons..

Seems I would have to generally be averaging well over 1 glob per rare (probably about 1.5 to 2) in order to make it worth it to salvage things.

So far I haven't really worried about it too much but my gear is at the point now where I should be thinking about it.

Judging from what my friend has said and personal experience, usually 1,there were a few times where we've gotten 0 and rarely 2 (infact i'm not sure if we did get 2 from a rare - i've gotten 2 from an exotic before though). Not sure about what others get

I've got a 2500k @ stock with a HD6950. With everything max (minus supersampling) i've dropped down to ~24fps in big fights.

It depends what brand graphics card you have.

AMD users will use eyeinfinity (found in the catalyst control centre), whereas Nvidia users will use Nvidia surround - I assume in their driver program (I have an AMD card so someone might want to jump on here).
