Written in... February. Since no one knew about the end game until now, and now we see what it is, I think that article can be summarily and categorically dismissed.
In my opinion, the article is quite accurate compared to the current state of the game. But whatever. Some people enjoy Gw2 and some don't.
The point of progressing in Guild Wars 2 is because in Guild Wars 2, it's actually fun to progress; the reward is the progression itself. Personal story, WvW, Dynamic events etc. If none of those things enjoy you, then I suggest playing another game.
No actually I didn't play WvW most of the time; WvW just bugged me the most. (Now that that crosses my mind, the many of particle effects are too quite annoying sometimes.)
I really havn't encountered any bugs that influenced my gameplay badly.
I think you're either unlucky or overreacting a bit.
The term "hate" might be a bit too harsh, lets just call it "dislike".
I dont like the fact that you constantly have to be in a massive group in WvW, I'd like to be able to make some sort of difference even if it's on my own.
Siege weapons should be able to be moved around, or atleast a couple of them.
Apart from that, there is nothing I really dislike about the game.
PS: I disagree with you that the game is unpolished, it's quite the opposite actually; I havent encountered any bugs yet and to be honest I think that the proffessions actually are balanced quite well.
