Might I suggest you use the search button instead of making a blog post next time?

Oh, if you're gonna answer " Well ask a refund" Anet received so many refund request they had to illegally "invent" (it's not public anywhere) a 6 months limit for a refund, seniors are a bit late for it. Just to add, (accordingly to Gaile Gray's posts) Anet monitor gw2 main fanbased forum like this one, reading what the community have to say, and what's wrong about the game, because they "care of community". /sarcasm on True, isn't it /sarcasm off

And whether you think it's poisonous or not doesn't matter. Somewhere, we should be allowed to say that we feel betrayed because we were promised something that wasn't a WoW clone. We should be allowed to say that we want MMOs to really evolve and leave the WoW model behind. We should be allowed to say that we feel that GW2 is stuck in the old ways. We should be allowed to point at GW2, just like we do at WoW, and say to others no, that, don't do that, never that.

that said I rarely go into WvW anymore as its boring. the whole mode needs more of an overhaul than culling players on your screen before it becomes worthwhile imo. small group supply camp capping isn't fun when you turn around 5 minutes later than there is a zerg there recapping it, not to mention how the entire culling issue is based around zerging being the only viable tactic to take a keep in any reasonable amount of time.

The thing is non-gear grind is NEARLY impossible. The only thing that replaces it is ranking and that is IMPOSSIBLE to create in a MMORPG for PvE.
Always good to meet a generic MMO sheep.
Simply put, do not forget to add "in my opinion".

"Reference religious or historical figures."
Every name in early medieval world is historical and religious! I always roll with unique names of the norn gods, and norn rare names from the past. How can we roll a Norn race char without a norn name like Hugleik?
Hell, i have an old norse god as name on this forum, and as account name in GW2 main.
How can norn names be abusive?
If we shall accept the terms, no one can name their char as Markus, Frey, Odin, Thor, carolus, carl, lex, alex, vincent, and so on. Every name in modern life has a religious and historical past on it.
Our Icelandic friends can't name their chars at all because of that all the names is in old norse language.
I have a feeling this is ONLY in place to prevent butthurt religious people when they see "jesus on a stick" run past their screen.

At that rate, we should just drop overflow servers entirely and go back with the old fashion queue times, at least that didn't separate you from your friends and guild.
No, my solution is to stop taking new things that were added to make your gaming experience better and making it seem like ANet owes you something by tailoring the release to your expectations because you can't plan ahead
As a general rule, new release population issues thin out by the end of the first week and all but disappear by the end of the second. Again, I say you should be planning on a server that doesn't have a ton of guilds already claiming it. After seeing some of your other posts it's apparent you'll be on Crystal Desert along with a large chunk of people. CD has been 'claimed' for some time and you still have a week to pick another, less populated server
If you or your friends can't get in it's your own bloody fault.
[Edit] Your avatar seems perfect for you, by the way, since all you seem to be doing is crying
