Good update although when i look at the game and everything that needs work i kinda wonder how they made this and why i guess for moral. Sure it's great content but what about all the bugs? class inbalances? Lackluster content? repetitive WvW? when are Anet gonna get us back into the Zone based World? What about Spvp that's dead? Skill Lag in WvW? Culling in Pve? Worthless Karma? Precursor RNG? Legendary Grind? How is ascended gear still not finished and completely released(armor/weapon/accessories)? Were are guild halls and player housing? GvG is widely asked for yet Anet still deny it why? People keep asking for more weapon skills to actually make the skill unlock system feel like progress are we getting that? scavanger hunt? New WvW maps? and these are just some of the things people have been asking for or have been talking about as "being worked on", "on the Drawing board" or "being looking into" by Anet,
I also wonder why only for a month when it's obvious that this has more player base interest than any previous update Anet have made while also seems to be the most well thought out update of recent. I am enjoying this update but this game still needs a lot of work before Anet moves onto projects that are only available for a limited period of time. Especially when Anet's first project isn't even finished.

SPvP and WvW fail so much. Both had the potential, same goes for PvE. But sadly, Arenanet is run by complete idiots who learned absolutely nothing from the masterpiece that GW1 was.

When was A.Net ever able to create good challenging PvE?
My favourite moments in GW games were always the encounters that were planned to be fairly easy, because that meant that A.Net didn't have to throw a bunch of gimmicks at the player in hopes of creating a sense of difficulty.

Underworld and DoA without gimmick builds and con sets would love to have a word with you

#2143879 Cosmetic Reward is not the best carrot for an MMO

My biggest problem with GW2's current cosmetic rewards (specifically armor skins) is that there aren't any of them that I find appealing. In GW1, there were several armor skins that I found attractive and I put in the necessary work to get all of them that I wanted. Unfortunately, most of the GW2 armor stylings seem to be intended for those players with a trenchcoat and buttcape fetish, and the tiny number of alternatives don't include any styles I like.
In terms of the "carrot" concept, I'd be perfectly happy to do the work to chase a tasty carrot if there was actually a tasty carrot for me to chase. Right now, all I'm seeing (and smelling) is an orange piece of rotting vegetable matter hanging on a string, and I have no desire to get any closer to it.
