I feel the same way! I love the Asura, but when I walk past a Charr holding a Rifle, mine looks miniscule compared to it! I made the mistake of making my Asura the shortest it could be, I plan to change then when appearance modifiers are released.
I know it's silly, but I would love for my little asura to be able to wield a giant hammer or rifle :3 The only example I could think of would be the Popori from Tera.

Again, just wait till you see them in game. Apparently the staff is supposed to have ribbons (for lack of better word) constantly flying around it. The Bolt will have little lightning bolts around it. And the dagger will have flames shooting out of the burner on it (check out the icon for it) Remember that those previews show the item sheathed, so the particle effects aren't there.
