in our guild we tryed the following group setup 8in wvw ) last week and were very successful:

warrior: hammer  heal shouts
warrior: hammer  heal shouts
guardian: hammer evade heal
guardian: hammer evade heal
mesmer: shatter quickness fiel

we had permanent protection, fury and might 6+, a lot of stability and stunlock for 5-10 sec ( depends on the positioning of the enemy at the beginning of the fight ). fights up to 5vs15 ran really smoth coz of the high armor, healing power, cc and burst in the quickness field. we warrior ran GS off weapon and used it for burst dmg ( 100b ) and quick escapes ( skill 3 and 5 )

i love both, warrior and guard, with the hammer setup. each for himself is great, together they are superb.

learn their weeknesses, i have recorded a 1vs1 with my ranger. sry that the vid is splited into parts:
( elementalist have a really hard time fighting rangers coz they have really absurd healing power and evade abilitys )

ranger is the strongest 1vs1 class in the game. i havent los one yet to be honest ( wvw ). doesnt matter if thief, mesmer, bunker ele or guardian. they are all dieing or running away.
