that's not how theorycrafting works...
if you want to make any kind of comparison on DPS between two different professions you have to create a model that factors in all the major elements that influence the system.

two major factors missing in your comparison (among others, but we don't want to nitpick, right?):
- different skills have different power multipliers, pulling the numbers from a database that only lists the raw base damage does not reflect the actual skilldamage(ratio) at a reasonable to be expected power value. any game with a constant gear progression would require those gains to be roughly equal. in GW2s case that is not needed as everyone reaches the stat plateau near instantly after gaining lvl80.
- dps is a measure of constantly applied damage over a reasonable amount of time. in this specific case to make any judgment about dps the calculation should at least include a timespan that spans the cooldown of the abilities used. HB has a 2 / 7 sec shorter CD for a reason that can't just be discarded by just looking at the first 5 seconds.

that all aside a comparison of that sort, factoring in 2 / 3 skills of profession with access to 17+ per fight, disregarding any synergies from traits, specific equipment builds or group members (vulnerability vs. might...), does not even make the slightest grounds for nerfing or buffing one profession over another as Minion is suggesting. that would be just absurd.

i just made lvl80 and was able to buy me a single piece of exotic armor with the karma (42.000) i saved up from 1-80.
so i would really suggest saving it, and not wasting it on leveling gear that you'll replace with drops or rewards within a few hours.

if you are talking about the masks and not some facial characteristics sourced from your race selection: they go into the helmet slot and can be deactivated the second you enter the game by unticking the checkbox in your hero panel.

it's one of ANets general design principles (stated by them as such in their forum during BWE1) that area of effect abilities (be it damage, condition/boon applications, heals, ...) only affect a maximum of 5 individuals.
that applies to shouts as well as to any other player controlled ability as far as my testing goes. so if anything you would have to supply evidence that an ability does affect more than 5 individuals, breaking that principle.
