It wont affect server hoppers. All they will do is change on a friday and jump to the winning servers for the next week. In the mean time players who have to change servers to find an unbugged event, waypoint, skill point or whatever are going to be left stranded for 7 days away from their guildies and friends and not being able to take advantage of any guild buffs or events in between.
So IMHO we have a solution that won't work and that wil affect the wrong group of players.
