-Fractals (high-level runs & progression)
-Occasional WvW (looking to get more into this)
-Occasional SPvP (looking to get more into this as well)

GW2Guru Weekly Dungeon Runs [NA]

29 March 2013 - 01:02 PM

Hey everyone! From this point on we'll be streaming dungeon runs from the GuildWars2Guru Twitch channel on a regular basis. These runs will typically take place about once a week. Each run will consist of myself along with a handful of members of the community who contribute in various ways. Some examples of such people would be bloggers, site admins, YouTube'rs, and so on.

Does this sound like you, are you from the NA region, and if so would you be interested in participating in dungeon runs from time to time? Then feel free to PM me with your info, including your email address, and we can discuss getting you involved!

If you would like to keep up to date with our streams, keep an eye on this thread! It will be updated regularly with the times of upcoming streams, which dungeons we will be running, and the guests that will be coming along!

02 September 2012 - 09:14 PM

Posted Image

Obscurity Gaming [OG] is a hardcore PvX guild. We have cleared every explorable dungeon, and are now starting to split our focus between dungeons, WvW and structured PvP. Regardless of what we are doing, we intend to play at the highest level in that field. We are looking for dedicated and motivated members who can match this level. We had 13 members at level 80 within less than a week of launch, and as we grow our pace is continuing to rise.

If interested, head on over to our site and apply. Feel free to PM me with any questions!

BSOD, Freezes, and 'Stopped Responding' Issues

26 July 2012 - 03:01 AM

Hey everyone. I understand that this is a pretty difficult problem to root out, but any help is greatly appreciated. Basically, I've been having trouble while playing games. This trouble includes freezes, games stopping responding, and STOP errors (blue screens). The STOP code I've gotten the most has been 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL'.

So far, I've tried a few different things. I've ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and found nothing,  I have removed 1 stick of RAM at a time, replacing one and taking out another each time the problem occurs, I have tried removing 1 channel worth of memory at a time (I have 4 sticks, 2 channels), I have run antivirus scans, and I have made sure all of my drivers are up to date. The only drivers I was unable to find, and therefore are not up to date, are as follows: Ethernet Controller // Marvell 91xx Config ATA Device // PCI Simple Communications Controller // I'm pretty sure that 1 or 2 of those drivers are for my MoBo (ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE), but I was unable to find the correct drivers on the company website.

I am aware that a system restore may fix this problem, but I would definitely prefer to go any other route. The reason for this is that this computer is only about 2 months old (meaning I've been downloading quite a bit recently), this problem has been going on for 2+ weeks, and I've downloaded about 14 games (Steam Summer Sale) in the last week. By this, I mean I would be left with a LOT to re-download. I'm sure it's also worth nothing I use Windows 7 64-bit, my HDD is about 70% full, my SSD is less than 60% full.

Once again, anyone who can help at all, I will be eternally grateful. I can provide a memory dump file, but I'll need a bit of instruction to do so (Google wasn't much help). Thanks in advance!

Low Budget PC Build

20 July 2012 - 04:42 PM

Hey guys, I'm building a new PC for a family member. This computer will not be used for gaming, it will only be used for thinks like surfing the web, watching some videos, typing things, and so on. The budget is about 450, which is where I have it at now. However, I'm pretty sure I either need a different MoBo or a GPU in order to use the on-board graphics of the CPU. Also, I know the PSU that comes with the case, and the case itself for that matter, is crap. However, so long as it works alright, I'm not concerned.

Here is my parts list, any input about the MoBo/GPU topic, or any of the parts for that matter, is greatly appreciated.

Case/PSU
HDD: WD Caviar Blue 250GB
RAM: Corsair XMS3 4GB
Disk Drive
MoBo: GIGABYTE GA-B75M-D3
CPU: Intel i3-2100

I have pretty expensive taste, so this sort of build is a bit out of my comfort zone. If money can be saved anywhere here, or anything needs to be swapped out for any other reason, input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
