I have been planning to upgrade my i3-2100 to an i5-2500K. Now that Ivy Bridge is out, I'm seeing the i5-3570K selling for basically the same price. The i5-2500K is well known as a good gaming CPU that overclocks great, so I'm a little hesitant to go with the newer CPU that hasn't been out for long.
Does the Ivy Bridge chip provide any advantages? I plan to overclock at some point. All things considered, which CPU would be better to go with from a gaming perspective?
