I bet everyone, even those who didn't play GW1 answered the question -"For those who played the original Guild Wars: which game do you find more enjoyable?"

Actually I didn`t answer that question I left it blank.

In Topic: Improving the Game: Increased XP Percentage?

I don`t agree with the increased XP gain because it is already to easy to level up a character especially with crafting. I invited a friend to GW2 last month and now he has 3 character at level 80!
I think they should nerf XP gain from crafting then perhaps add what your asking for in the future. I`m for nerfing the crafting proffessions because it doesnt encourage players to exprience the game at all. My friend for example didn`t have the opprotunity to learn how to play his character effectivley and efficently.
He just buy gems from the store to max all his characters with crafting.
A majority of the players do that.

In Topic: Anyone else slightly disappointed with the story in GW2?

Personally, the story could have been better I dislike Trahearne very much. It felt as if he was taking over my story everything revolved around him. Many times I wish he was the one that died instead of Sieran. I dislike the orr zombies they are a pain in the assests not because they were difficult but because they felt cheaply designed and annoying. It could have been worked on a bit more I don't really pay attention to the voice attacking though. I didn't finish my personal story beacuse Trahearne just either needs to be a) deleted from the game or  2) die. He ruins it for me, sadly.

I agree that everyone can do the same thing but not every profession can do certain roles perfectly unless you spec specifically for that. In addition to that we have players who spec according to what they like to play.  We have players who sacrafice damage for bunker builds, or elementalists or gardians who go full heals and etc. So in reality the roles are still there.

If I am full bunker on my mesmer that means I have high toughness and high health, but moderate damage input. My friend who is a full spec healing elementalist can dish out high heals and i can't heal as much or even close to the amount she is healing for, but she has low damage. So once again roles are still there.

I am happy that it is like this.

Sometimes I do miss the dedicated classes, but not to the point where I want it in this game. That is why I play Aion on the side. What I dont miss is having to wait a full hr for a tank and a dps class happened to me yesterday and did not enjoy it at all =(
