Ok for a few days now I've noticed a lot of threads saying things like "I dont have enough money when I hit level 80", or "what at I supposed to do now that I'm level 80". I am only level 41 engineer, I started from head start and so far I haven't had money problems, maybe they will come later, who knows. All I know is that I'm taking my time finishing zones, doing DEs and the occasional WvW, crafting and I can't say money is an issue. YES it's a bigger issue than in other mmos, but not that much if you actually play the content instead of rushing through.
A guildie has been at it more often than me but follows the same philosophy and is in a good financial situation.
I'm not saying that prices for waypoints and repairs shouldn't be tweaked, I'm saying that if you played the game the way it's supposed to be played, aka exploring, actively going to events and not blindly going through, money isn't as big an issue in my opinion.
What does everyone think? And the ones who skipped stuff try and have an objective opinion please
