Lol, yeah right, anyone who knows anything about programming would not post a rant on a fan site if they hope to notify the company in charge of the issue. They know to submit a bug report via the proper channel(s) and understand it is normal to have minor bugs that we've noted at this point in the game.
Or your just an smug a**hole programmer who thinks he knows more than Anet and is happy to do nothing to try and fix the issue (by reporting) to improve the game experience for anyone including himself.

WvW'ers have to put up with PvE'ers who don't contribute and just want to grab PoI's, vistas, and skill points.
PvE'ers have to go into something they don't enjoy, sit around waiting for the main force to take a tower or keep they need just for one PoI or vista.
Sure, WvW isn't structured pvp, it's not hardcore, but it's the fact that no matter how hard an individual tries, they just cannot at all get world completion until their server puts up a decent fight(And this is assuming you world transfer. You could be waiting for weeks or even months if you refuse to transfer).
The rest of world completion can be done solo. It might be a real pain in the ass at times, but it can be done solo. Putting world completion into wvw is just a shit sandwich for everyone.
Edit: Anyone suggesting you can just "run in and run out" has no goddamn idea what they are talking about.

The repair cost to get to all these points is also horrendous if you don't wish to attack back, so the only way I know is to quit the game client fast when you are under attack. There is no way to declare yourself neutral to stop other people from attacking you.

What about people that doesn't know the reward before he finish his cool and fun event, after he struggle for 1h he is poorer then before
Exploring is the most nerfed "profession" in GW2, doing dungeons instead of 100% world is 10000 times more rewarding.
Still at this subject, is the only game I know where killing veterans and champions doesn't worth the time, last 4 champions I beat dropped less items (actually 0 items, just trophies) then the regular mobs around them.

Now, once I am 80 and have world completion, I'll probably be in fotm or farming cursed shore a lot myself. I have a goal in mind, but I am enjoying the journey.

Every event in a given level tier gives the same Experience, Karma, and silver - no matter how much time it takes to complete.
Champion events are an obvious example - they are generally uninteresting scaled-up normal mobs that have more health and damage on their abilities (the same kinds the normal mobs do). These are generally labelled as Group Events.
I have an example to show, in the new area (meaning they had time to see which types of events were well-done, and which were skipped in the original areas - but they made this one like this anyway).
It has you kill 2 Veteran Karkas within a camp infested with smaller ones - and is not labelled as a Group Event.
(Video playing at 2x original speed)
It wasn't too challenging, but it took a long time; and gave the same reward as the event where you give the NPC 10 Karka Eggs acquired from interacting with nests.
This amount of time investment/challenge is not justified. It is the reason nobody goes out in the world, after FotM was released.
Is it really that hard for ANet to add neat little things like tokens from hard events, so that over time you can buy a weapon or armor set with a neat skin after doing them enough?

Does the gear treadmilling bother me? Maybe a little. But they're right in that there is a part of their content that I don't have to experience to optimally engage the game. And, frankly, the fact that other players may have bigger numbers don't bother me at all. I play this game for the progress, not for the end goal. Physically, I know that I hit those buttons to achieve a particular goal of killing a mob. Conceptually, however, it feel as if I was there. Myself. Transported into a magical world and seen through the lens of my character.
Am I frustrated by the general community's behavior? Of course. But that's not going to stop me from playing my part for the community. Even if it means leaving mapchat on.
