I would have to say engineer:
1) Access to permanent swiftness through the use of Speedy Kits Trait (10 point in last tree).
2/3)Grenadier trait at 30 in explosives is 1500 range and 25 stacks of vulnerability or Bomb Kit if you get into melee range.
4)The engineer is the master of knockback more so than the guardian and we have so many slows kitting is so simple, even more so with permanent swiftness.
5)With runes of the centuar you can keep permanent swiftness up on a small group of allies. Also with med kit/ healing turret and elixir gun you have some decent support.
But all this does require good timing and skill to pull off effectively. if you're looking for more face-roll, go a guardian.

Any idea what class that won't hurt either my eyes or fingers? I'm over 36 years old and I feel like my gaming skill is getting decayed..
Both Mesmer and Engineer require active play. Mesmer has to kite forever to survive or be really quick with their dodges/ invulns/ distortion to stay alive and the Engineer potentially has more skills to manage than the Elementalist. I would roll either warrior or guardian if you feel your "skills" arent up to the challenge.
In Topic: What do GW1 players think of GW2?

I personally have had fun in both GW1 and GW2.
I think I started playing GW1 back in 2006-2007 (I cant remember which) after a friend dragged me into it. We had fun together and my family started playing with me. PvE was a pushover up until the elite area like FoW and DoA. That was a little too hardcore for the family members so thats when they quite. High end PvE turned into either run this build or go away.
Yes I do miss the customization of your skill bar, but there were so many useless skills. There were only a handful of builds that people ran in high end pve and pvp, everything else was trash. The thing I miss most about GW1 though was the co-op missions.
When GW2 came out I was 100% prepared for it to be a complete different game from gw1. These are 2 different games; they're only similar in lore.

Power wise.... like EVERYONE ELSE, Time Warp. Quickness is just so gamebreaking and having 10sec of it in a huge area. There is no competition. Personally, Thieves Guild just for the RP aspect and Hounds of Balthazar for the cool factor
In Topic: Signet of Malice or Hide in Shadows?

If you really just wanna face-tank use both Signet of Malice and some Life-Steal Food ( <3 Ghost Berries). I can't tell you how much HP regen you can get but it's really nice with Signet of Rage/ Haste/ I forgot the trait the name in Crit Strikes Tree....
In heavy condition areas/ CC areas definately use Hide In Shadows. The on demand condition cleanse and aggro dropper are life savers, especially in Orr/ Dungeons.
PvP wise, always HiS or Withdraw, SoM works of attacks done and spamming attacks against anything but baddies is a death sentence. You might as well abuse the Thief's steath and evasions to their fullest right?
