I think gossamer is a safe place.  There will be ascended armor by the end of the year.  The price of that and leather will go up.

It doesn't look Wild Star is going to be the GW2 killer that some thought it would be now.

I can't imaging having heroes and henchman in GW2.  I think it would ruin the experience.

No, there are always risks.  Stunt people risk their lives for 'business.'  So do first responders.  There are always risks that go beyond your pocketbook.  Mitigating is part of the game and apparently these businesses nor the people they put in the spotlight consider them when they do it.  I have a friend who spent the first portion of his adult life wearing a full-body suit, crawling through God knows what and watching a Geiger counter all for the sake of a paycheck.  He eventually changed jobs and became a nurse.

I'm not removing perspective, you're narrowing the scope of it.  These are not just game designers, they are public personas in they industry.  Like a model, or a movie star or a Kardashian.  I'm sure Kim Kardashian gets her fair share of creepers and death threats.  I'm sure Michael Jackson did.  Neither prison guard nor a Blackwater employee are necessarily public figures.

I'm a software developer, but I do not let my company pimp me out for a PR statement because I have thus far chosen not to become a public figure either in my industry or in general.  Because I'd rather not have people be made aware of my existence.

You cannot compare being a software developer to being a game designer.  Software developers are a dime a dozen.  When a game designer creates a good game, he gets known publicly and there's nothing that can be done about it.  As a game designer, I am not a public figure, but many people know who I am because of my games.  As a software developer, your company has no interest in pimping out your name, because they can pay you less that way.  So please, don't compare yourself to designers.

What if Countess Anise is no one else but Livia in disguise? If she really went to Orr it's pretty likely something there had a... not too healthy influence on her mental sanity. So I wouldn't be too much of a surprise if she won't be that much "for humanity" anymore.
Since she could practice for the last ~250 years and has the power of the scepter of orr, I can imagine she has the power to keep up such a trickery.

Memo to myself: make wife hurry reading up Sea of Sorrows, have to read it myself asap

Another memo to myself: it I'm right and it's possible in any way- support Livia at any cost

I doubt it's Livia and here's why:

Anise was a childhood friend of Jenna's
Livia has made many sacrifices for Krytan Royalty, we've been presented with no evidence that Queen Jenna is the legitimate ruler.
Livia was a necromancer, Anise is a Mesmer.
