We do NOT need the ability to inspect other players. The only thing that add to a game is elitism, and that is not something ArenaNet, nor most of the players, want.

Lets compare then: How much of all these "awesome must have features" did WoW have 6 months after release?
As far as I remember the game was more or less still in BETA at that time.

You cant compare the release of WoW and GW2... Go and find out when WoW came out, and go and find out when GW2 came out.

Now compare, the years inbetween. Alot has happened through those years in technology. So please stop with your stupidity...

GW2 SHOULD be ALOT better than WoW, since WoW came first, and GW2 could see what they did wrong, and do it perfect....

kinda like Wow has almost 10 millions subs still?  They aren't lying, but how many are Chinese accounts.  Just like any company you can play with numbers and present them to the world in many different ways to get a desired PR effect.

Cmon dude. Please, stop talking about stuff you know nothing about. WoW was a great game, it still is. But compared to other MMO makers, Blizzard are pretty smart.

WoW was awesome, then since, in my opinion, Wrath of the lich king, the game kinda lost its touch. Then they tried cataclysm, didnt really work either, so they made mist of pandaria, to suit the younger ages. Mist of pandaria has gotten alot of people back to wow, and even gained them alot of new players.

GW2 on the other hand, has nothing to offer. They make events such as The lost shore, which kinda forces you to play at that point, otherwise you will miss it, which i think is kinda annoying.

And as i said earlier about them not listening to the community.

First now, they decide to give players preview of Auction items.
You said to me earlier that duels was useless for the game since it wasnt balanced in 1vs1.

What about inspecting other players? this is also something that should have been ingame from start.

The game is missing alot, compared to it being out for half a year.

So that is why i made the thread to hear, whats theyve done of new things.

Needs? And yet it has sold over 3 million copies less than 6 months after release with more and more people being logged in the last 5 weeks?

Clearly people don't feel that they game NEED those things for it to be worth playing.

Just because YOU want some things does not mean that those same thing will work with what ArenaNet have in mind for their game. It is after all their game. If you don't like it, there are about 50 other games that have all those things you feel that this game NEEDs.

Dude, dont be a smartass. The game isnt exactly gaining players... its losing more than its gaining, at a point the game lost ALOT of players. It may have sold over 3million copies? So? most MMO's have sold around that amount of copies. It doesnt matter how many copies they sold, what matters is how many that have stayed. + arenanet made ALOT out of their trailers, not to mention they even lied in a few of them, telling stuff about the ingame, that isnt even there yet.

And no its not just because of ME, so stop being a moron. As a PvP'r i know that almost every hardcore pvper is missing dueling, its the way to prove your skills.

You must have looked at rather biased sites if "nothing have changed". They have added quite a few new things, including a whole new end-game system and reward system for achievements, I would say that is rather much more than "nothing"

Yeah but is this what the community has been asking for? If arenanet want GW2 to keep running they should start listening.

I know that people have been asking for dueling since release. I doubt it being a hard thing to add to the game.
I know that people have been asking for more pvp modes. Yet arenanet, says fack dat, lets make some more pvp maps instead.
I know that people have been asking for LF dungeon system. I havnt heard anything about this yet.

There is soo much this game needs, and things are going too damn slow. I know it sounds demanding, and im tired of hearing the excuse, well its F2P you can always come back later. No you cant always come back later, time goes on, you get older, lose interrest, got no spare time for gaming, new games come out.

I really do believe that the reason for arenanet being so slow is that they are in a big need of employees. I mean Arenanet isnt really that big at this time.

I don't understand this kinds of threads. Is it worth coming back? I don't know, since the games sub free why don't you just come back, spend some time in-game, do something different to what you did last time. Try and level Iron-Man mode using just white armor weapons, try an theorycraft a new build for your class.

The difference between endgame in Guild Wars 2 and games like WoW and Rift is that WoW and others deliver your end game on a shiny platter, "Here's a raid, there's cool shit in there like purples and stuff". Guild Wars 2 requires you to find your own endgame, Your an adventurer after all. I'm much happier randomly climbing the side of a waterfall to see if anything is up the top then i ever was sitting in Org waiting for raid time.

Just my 2 cents.

Sorry, my point wasnt really written well. What i was trying to say is, whats new in GW2. From what ive seen and read, nothing.

I see there is an upcomming patch soon, where they make a few changes, but nothing big. So whats the point in downloading and using your time on something that hasnt changed at all since you left it. Whats the point in getting back into a game, you left cos it lacked stuff, and still does.
