Umm... unless I've done something wrong here, the builds you linked use hammer, not greatsword and the traits aren't set towards greatsword.

I'm confused?

I actually joined this server after not getting any answers, so far exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Awesome! Glad to have you with us. Usually don't dominate quite this much, but we've had a winning streak lately and also two decent sized guilds from GoM transferred over.

Hope you enjoy the server!

In Topic: Warrior or Guardian as Commander?

You said it yourself, any class can do it.

My advice would be whatever class you have the most fun on. I personally roll a warrior because I think it's more versatile and requires slightly less thought than a guardian, which allows me to think more about commanding, but guardians have better access to buffing and tanking. It's really up to you. There's also the bonus of being able to hit siege at the back of the wall with a longbow (F1 skill) if your zerg isn't doing it, on a warrior.

Again, it's preference. If you don't like playing your guardian or warrior, pick the one you do like. It'll probably become your main and if you want to be a good commander you'll typically want people to remember your name, so you'll want to play it a lot, thus you'll want whichever character you enjoy more.

Pick whichever is more fun for you, but if you're more concerned about what does the job better, pick warrior because there's less you have to manage.

Isle of Janthir, my man. We on IoJ stear away from ZvZ and try to aim more towards actually capturing points and holding them, though we are no strangers to big zerg fights. We encourage both following the zerg and splitting off to scout, slap yaks, siege keeps, etc.

I'm one of our commanders and I can tell you our average zerg size is about 20 - 25 players. We range from small groups of 5 to huge groups of 40, depending on timezone. Other servers I'd recommend would be Sorrow's Furnace, Sea of Sorrows, Anvil Rock and maybe a couple of t4 ones.

If you're interested, send me a PM on the forums or send me a mail in-game. My IGN is "Mexay Renatus"
