Grenades is a utility skill not a weapon skill. No auto cast as far as I know.

In Topic: [Answered] when do reserved names expire

30 October 2012 - 04:30 PM

They have already expired.
They expired 1 day after official release I thought? Maybe not.
If someone deletes a char that name is reserved for that account for 24 hours.

Did not have a single game breaking event since I logged in on the first day of head start. Have been able to play and enjoy every minute. If you need the tp to enjoy yourself then it probably wasn't an enjoyable launch.
The game could do with less people so more power to them.

I always say, take a close look at your 1-5 skills, really learn what they do,

This is where i improved a lot but still have a ways to go. When I started (and i admit as a pretty casual player - my general philosophy) my attitude to the game was
a) dodge on occassion, especially when there is a super obvious slow motion emote before a big move
B) move as much as possible
c) know that skill 1 does high dmg, 2 does slow, 3 does aoe med dmg etc

I generally did ok, didnt die too much but didnt feel like i was competent enough to take on 2 to 3+ mobs that were higher level.
But I know i dont know every skill and the exact mechanics of some of the skills i do kinda know. Traits are not something im too clued up about apart from a general overview.
I havent worked out exactly when to dodge for all the mobs, i dont think i pay close enough attention or im concentrating on moving and my own skills to notice.
My moving around sometimes feels kind of pointless, as i still get hit when i try to circle strafe etc.

So i might be doing some things right but i know im not doing them 100% effectively. Im in no rush to be great at the game and dont care if it takes me a while. This is going to be a game i play my way not to try and show off to others.

In Topic: Jumping Puzzles... yay or nay?

The vista ones arent particularly hard (not the ones i tried anyway) but the jumping puzzles that dont appear on the map can be challenging. I think its fair that the vista's arent too difficult as you need to complete them to get map completion. The others where you may get a chest at the end of it can be as challenging as they want to make them.
