Could use an upgrade on laptop?

Hey I've been able to run gw2 fairly decently in the past but was wondering if there was anything I could upgrade to boost performance.

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU    P8700 @ 2.53GHz
Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 Series

If you need additional info just let me know.

Auction house between betas

Wasn't on the last stress test and did not pay attention between bwe1/2 to notice. But do the items we put on the auction house stay on there between betas or are they wiped? However I imagine this question would be pointless if they do wipe our characters for bwe3 since they would probably wipe the AH then as well.
