It looks I cannot be of help, all the people afected by this mail are just getting a new key or a refund from their retailers.

I am sorry, it is not a "ban", it is just that the key  they prepurchased is no longer valid to play. They can log on the official page, but if they start the client of the game, they get an error message saying that they don't have a valid key anymore. At least, that's what they are explaining.

Edit: Anyway, I'm asking for more details there, to see how they find it's not phising.

Many spanish fans are receiving the same mail today, and they confirmed the ban: try to start the gw2 client.

But I think chat will be a mess.. because english is not known by all players. 'Best thing' for most of the people is not possible without dedicated servers, similar to districts in GW.

Edit: PEGI 12, I know children below that age playing (with their parents), they are not able to write in good enough english :) It has happen before in many games.. I remember playin SWG (pre NGE) in the un-official spanish server.. and the whole chat was spanish.
